1975
- 1 August 1975 – Joseph Toland (78) and James Marks (51), both Catholic civilians, were shot dead during a gun attack on a minibus near Gilford. Marks died on 7 January 1976. The bus had been returning from a bingo session when it was stopped at a bogus British Army checkpoint. The Ulster Volunteer Force was believed to have been responsible. The attack has been linked to the "Glenanne gang".[1]
- 31 December 1975 - Sylvia McCullough (31), Richard Beattie (32) and William Scott (34), all Protestant civilians, were killed in a People’s Republican Army bomb attack on the Central Bar, Gilford.
